Mixing
-What is Mixing?
Mixing is the process of creating groups and subgroups. Otherwise known as (in the music industry) Stems.
We combine these stems into a multi-track template that is balanced through the use of DSP processing, EQ, Compression, and Dynamics.
This can be applied to music, live recordings, and studio vocals. This is done on a strictly track-by-track basis.

Examples: Lead vocals, double vocals, backing vocals
Kick drum, snare, high hat, etc.

Mastering
-What is Mastering?
Mastering is the process in which a two track mix is turned up to industry level. Dither is applied, 2 second pauses are added to start and finish, and track listing is added.

Every track released by a major label is mastered to prepare for distribution in retail stores and being played on the radio. The reason this occurs is in the studio a cd is recorded one song at a time which gives you a difference in peak levels, peak areas, and overall EQ. A Mastering Engineer can fuse your album with use of EQ, gain, and compression to give it a constant sound from one song to the next. This course of action also allows the engineer to amplify the general level to put in what is absent.

We provide equalization and level adjustments with no extra cost necessary.

• Even out song levels and EQ individual tracks for consistency.
• Correct minor mix deficiencies with equalization
• Enhance flow by changing the space between songs
• Eliminate noise in between tracks
