For example, here are some cheaper alternatives to standard CDs in Jewel Cases, 2 page booklets and single sided rear inserts, printed in full colour, fully packaged.

Black tray for CD jewel case is generally cheaper than clear tray. Firstly, it will save cost on the tray itself. Black tray could be produced with partial recycle material as compared with 100% virgin materials use to produce clear tray. Secondly, cost of printing is cheaper since you need only to price on one side of the back inlay. As per picture below.

This applies to DVD retail box as well. Choose black amaray case than clear case thus reduces cost on case and inlay.

Another option for DVD retail box is using slim amaray case instead of normal one. This will help reduce your transportation cost by a fair amount. Because slim case in have the thickness and weight of the normal amaray case; therefore reduces cost of shipment.

For Packaging Using Hub rather than Digitray, Using Paper than rather than plastic
CD-Fix/Foam Dots is a foam dot with self adhesive on the back for fixing discs to cards, brochures or presentation packs.

For assembling using wafer tabs rather than shrink-wrapping
Normally clients use shrink-wrapping/cigar-wrap to protect their products. Shrink-wrapping/cigar-wrap encapsulates the whole product inside a tight plastic wrapper made of cellophane. This option is also possible with a tear-off strip (like a cigarette case) to allow for easy removal.Shrink-wrapping/cigar-wrap ensures that it will be immediately evident to any user if any product has been tampered with prior to purchase or use.

Why Not choose closure wafer tabs? Closure Tabs is a self-adhesive transparent circle used to seal any item of packaging, including Digipak, Digifile, Digihub, Digisleeve or DVD Cases closed.This is also useful for ensuring that products are not tampered with prior to use.

For The Duplication Order, Limiting the Print Coverage On Disc
An alternative to our state of the art, digital thermal retransfer on body print process is ink transfer. This still produces photo-quality printing, but the result is not waterproof, scratchproof or UV-protected. The cost also varies depending on how much of the disc surface is covered in ink. Because it is cheaper for us to print a disc that only requires a little ink, we have developed a limited print option that slashes the cost of CD Duplication. We call it "DigiLogo CD".

For this option, you get two text fields (one can be colour) of 60 characters each and one full colour image (measuring no more than 3cm x 3cm, or 4cm x 2cm). This is ideal for companies, who need text information and a logo on the disc face.
