Pick-Pack Merge

Pick and Pack

Pick-Pack Merge11.jpgDiscturnkey Fulfillment has streamlined production from some customers by consolidating several items into one final part number. A customer may have requirements for printed materials along with several components (which may or may not require assembly). These components are then merged to a specified package type and shipped to the customer as one unit. This feature reduces the amount of part numbers that the customer has to maintain.

Our Warehouse Management System offers the flexibility of multiple pick options and features (including: Intelligent Pick Routes, RF Pick, Pick to Tote, Batch/Wave Pick, Lot Control, Serial No. Capture, License Plates/GS1-128 Labels) all of which enhance efficiency, capacity and effectiveness.Flexibility becomes extremely important when you are providing pick and pack fulfillment for a wide variety of product types that come in all shapes and sizes, and with SKU counts ranging from 5 to 5,000 or more!

Our systems calculate the most effective route for operations’ staff to take around the warehouse and pick the order. This optimizes logistics operations as it reduces travel time around the warehouse. It means the operations team will be more productive and hit efficiency targets as well as ensuring the customers’ order is picked and packed as quickly as possible. Our people do the rest as order pickers, using the system to pull appropriate items and quantities, ensuring every order receives 100% Quality Control verification. At Discturnkey Fulfillment, we take great care in choosing qualified staff for our operations as each individual is first trained, then monitored for both accuracy and efficiency.
